Is there a way to update the game without having to download the new version and have to start all over again? if it's possible how? can anyone teach me?

Find a bug or glitch idk on WIndows/PC version, it was morning and then asmedia come to me and ask for jogging, i want to answer it but the choice box is gone, and the room object is bugged on screen, like its flying and not in the place when im talking to asmedia.
